Yahoo! What Do They Want?

I'm one of those Google fanatics and I'm generally guilty of paying all my attention to Google's search engine guidelines. 

While that's not a bad start, what about Yahoo's guidelines?

An Alternative to the Nightmare of Reciprocal Link Exchange

After being bombarded on a daily basis with 'reciprocal link exchange' requests, I've decided that this whole process needs a makeover.

We all know that the reciprocal link exchanges take up a huge amount of time with responding to emails, checking websites and updating the links I found myself just deleting most of the message requests, I know …not very nice, especially since I was inviting the link exchanges in the first place Embarassed

But there are not only more important things I could be doing, the whole reciprocal link exchange thing just isn't the best solution.   Neither party is gaining any real content value which is precisely what the search engines want and what my viewers deserve as well.

Not Getting Enough Clicks?

If your site isn't getting many click-throughs, it may be because you're not grabbing the attention of your readers. 

One of the best and easiest things you can start with is to look at your page's title and description tags.  Almost sounds too simple, but if you can spend a few minutes doing it right, you can see amazing results.

Start out with a little study of how you can change your title to make it more intriguing and interesting.  No matter how common or dull a topic it can raise interest just by phrasing the title so as to make it a little more interesting.

You can pull lots of extra traffic and even beat the top ranked web sites if you have a more appealing and captivating title.

Your Ticket To Top Search Engine Ranking

I've achieved top search engine ranking, specifically #1 ranking on Google, for several of my best keywords for several months now, you can even see for yourself… 

Go to Google and type in these keywords:

'internet home business'
'building a home internet business'
'online business'
'internet business'

For each of those keywords phrases, I rank on the first page of Google, and in the #1 spot for two of them.   Also if you look on Wordtracker those are keywords that get plenty of searches every day.
