Ok, I've found another truly 'good' piece of software that I can really get excited about.

It's called Static Blogging and the name is a little obscure but it's been one heck of a great product for me with regards to installing blogs on Wordpress. Actually, I hate working with Wordpress but this package makes it easy.
Here's the scoop on Wordpress and why I love it so much…..
You've probably heard the term 'Web 2.0', or maybe you're a little tired of hearing it by now. If you're not familar with it, Web 2.0 is where the web has evolved and improved over time and now offers better and more up to date services like blogs, wiki’s, social networking sites, etc.
What's even more interesting is that most sites out there today don't use Web 2.0, they're still plugging along at 1.0. The cool thing for everyone else is that it wouldn't take much to knock those sites down a few notches and claim the top rankings for yourself!
Even if you have a top ranking site, if it's outdated in design and interactivity you could stand to do much better. A few minimal changes and updates could make owning a website so MUCH easier and put you light years ahead of your competition — we all need some of that!
My excitement came when I began to think about the better rankings I can achieve, getting visitors to stay on my site longer, more visitor interaction, less maintenance and easy up-to-date content , not to mention the additional benefits of getting indexed sooner, the benefits of "tags", getting submitted to blog directories, and search engines faster, using social networking and the benefits just go on.
You don't have to be a genius to see that there are tons of marketing niches that aren't utilizing any of that technology — This is a *BIG* opportunity for you!
So, needless to say that's my goal for the next few weeks and, by the way, I found the perfect way to do it.
I'm using something called "Static Blogging" to create what looks like a static (regular) website… but is actually "Web 2.0" and powered by WordPress.
Now I'm not just talking about ordinary blogs, I'm talking about static blogging. It's using Wordpress to create a regular website (a static website, not a blog). I'm using Wordpress instead of static webpages so that I can create a Wordpress makeover that looks as much llike a regular "website" as possible with all the features and extraordinary benefits of a "blog".
In case you're wondering why you would want to use Wordpress to create and manage your websites instead of static HTML web pages, here's a few excellent reasons:
- Visitor Interaction
- Hands off mailing list management
- RSS options
- Automatic internal link structure
- Is it a Blog or a Website? (both!)
- Integrating Affiliate Datafeeds
- Easy Site/Content Management
…and getting there is a breeze with Staticblogging
StaticBlogging is a step-by-step course that holds you by the hand and takes you through the whole process of building your Wordpress static blog. There's over 4 hours of video tutorials or if you prefer the PDF version you get that too. Even if you're an expert at Wordpress you'll love this, but if you're a beginner there are beginner basics that hold you by the hand every step of the way.
Not only does Staticblogging offer a complete step-by-step video and PDF course, it comes with additional Wordpress plugins which includes things like Google sitemap generator (very handy), Adsense plugins, Form creator plugins and many more. It also includes several additional site themes to choose from.
…and all of this can be done even if you've never, ever built a site before.
There's even a PDF that will teach you how to create a header graphic on your own. I've always wanted to find something to help me with headers …and now I have it.
I've tested out the Static Blogging system for creating several of my blogs including this one and can't say enough good things about it.
I found the product to be very affordable at $57. For the time and aggravation it saves working with Wordpress blogs, not to mention the easy to install plug-ins and graphics guide it provides, it's been worth its weight in gold to me.
